Join us March 20 for a special Philadelphia Launch Party!
Thanks to the generous support of sponsors like PrimePay, Bunker Labs PHL continues to inspire, equip and connect veteran entrepreneurs with the tools they need to start and grow their businesses.
We spoke with Monty Heath, U.S. Navy SEAL, business owner, motivational speaker, and current Director of the Veterans in Business Program at PrimePay. Monty served alongside America’s finest as a U.S. Navy SEAL for 11 years and has received the honor of two Bronze Stars with combat Valor designations. Here’s what he had to tell us about his experience as a veteran in business.
Bunker Labs Philadelphia has received a $10,000 grant from the Lincoln Financial Foundation to support the Bunker Labs PHL CEOcircle program. CEOcircle focuses specifically on later-stage ventures, whose founders need different resources and guidance than the early stage entrepreneurs who make up the majority of Bunker Labs Launch Lab Online programming.
“PwC is really living by their values within the veteran space. Things like acting with integrity, making a difference, working together, caring, and reimagining the possible, all of these things have come through in their efforts with veterans.”
We spoke with one of PwC’s veteran employees, Kyle White, who works as a manager within Information Security and Risk Compliance at PwC. He shared with us his experience transitioning into the workforce after service, why veterans are a unique asset in the corporate world, and how PwC is supporting the veteran community.
“TESU’s degree programs are a perfect fit for military and veterans. We understand that these folks bring experiences to the classroom that we should recognize and appreciate and allow them to benefit from their prior learning.”
We spoke with Dr. Dennis Devery, 30-year U.S. Army veteran and current VP for Enrollment Management at Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, NJ. Here’s what he had to say about how TESU is providing new educational opportunities for veterans.
Through programs like The Muster, Bunker Brews, and the Launch Lab X Cohort, Bunker Labs continues its mission to Inspire, Equip, and Connect veteran entrepreneurs throughout their business journeys. However, these programs would not be possible without the generous support of corporate sponsors like J.P. Morgan. We spoke with James Ask, U.S. Navy Veteran and Vice President of J.P. Morgan Private Bank about how J.P. Morgan gives back to the veteran community.
